Silver Gelatin paper negative process, Kodak Specialist 3 LF Camera, Unknown Brass Lense, Agfa Glossy paper, Agfa expired multicontrast developer, scanned and processed in Silver FX Pro 2.

This image was taken yesterday morning with the details above. I have been having a summer of shooting film and I have missed the immediacy of shooting paper. I am fortunate to have a darkroom at home and at my gallery. There is nothing I love more than loading paper into any of my cameras, going outside (especially in my back yard) making the exposure and then going into the darkroom to develop the paper negative.

I use any camera, from home made, 35mm, brownies and up to 5 x 7 LF for my negatives.
This was using an unnamed brass lens, expired developer and paper..............

I love the opportunity for random in this.....and me not being total in control and bending everything to my will.

This one is the best on this series, I think.

EDIT: After reading the story, I say WOW! Great idea to use paper as negative, and then scan/photography it to digital format. I have some old paper negatives of my own. I should record them to digital files some day =)

paper is uber cool.........no digital sensor in my mind emulates light on an emulsion.........i like the analogue birth and the digital kiss in the processing.

This one I like more as the other one, the softness fits better with this format. It makes it mysterious. The other one maybe works better in a bigger size.

P.S. I just found in our cellar my old Durst enlarger and everything else from the old dark room. Maybe later :D
