A brown creeper stopped by lunchtime to see what he could glean in the poplar bark.

I got this picture but then I foolishly stept out on the deck to get a little closer. The goldfinches, disturbed by me, disturbed him, and he disappeared.

Creepers are every-so-often birds in our yard. The last time we saw one was New Year's Day.
