Eagle coach at the Clock Hotel, Welwyn – 11 Oct 2002 (502-02A)

Friday 11 October 2002 – An Eagle International/Eagle Bus Manufacturing coach parked at the Clock Hotel, Welwyn, Hertfordshire carrying British registration number F874 DMS and graphics for Miller Genuine Draft (MGD) Beer, a product of the USA brewer.

The Eagle coach range was the mainstay of the Continental Trailways (later Trailways) affiliated fleets which plied the network of scheduled services in the USA and a major competitor to Greyhound.

In the window was an official certificate showing the name of Expeditions, Homestead Place, Hendersonville, Tennessee, USA. The partially faded annual vehicle inspection label number 6746791 showed part of the VIN number …DN6815.80..027 (Could have been a ‘5’ after the 80 then either a ‘D’ or ‘O’ in front of the 027).
