Saturday 8 May 1993 - The Cambus X10 service began on 22 February 1993 and linked RAF Mildenhall with Cambridge via Mildenhall town centre and Newmarket but ceased operation on Saturday 2 April 1994 so was fairly short lived. Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR 741 (RAH 268W), seen at King Street, Mildenhall, was new to Eastern Counties Omnibus Company as VR268. It has higher backed seating and sports an attractive livery in the National Bus Company inspired ‘venetian blind’ style. The lady on the front upper deck seat above the driver is Jane Constable, she once worked in the Finance Department at Schering-Plough.
