Our museums and art galleries too, hide lots of their possessions and exhibits. Normally because they have more than they can actually publicly exhibit. I doubt that censorship comes into the equation though. Thanks for the thought.

L'art et les artistes connus, appréciés seront privilégiés et auront des facilités à exposer leurs travaux (budget, musées, publicité etc...) les autres auront les pires difficultés à faire connaitre leurs travaux... Heureux ceux qui auront la chance de vendre à des organismes culturels qui s'empresseront de les stocker dans des réserves

Maybe it's because this is an issue dear to me. We had it here at Ipernity before IMA too. We've had it (and it continues) in the USA and I see it propagating all over the world. :( The arts shouldn't be destroyed because someone or some government doesn't like the theme. Censorship whether of religious books, LGBTQ+ works, unpopular political statements is the real evil. Thank you for your evocative image and statement Judite!
