KETTLE'S ON - ANYONE CARE FOR A CUP OF TEA?

You've seen my tea cups - even though photography is really both my art and my hobby, I decided to show you what I put in all those varied cups - varied tea!! Black, Green, decaf and caf, herbal insfusions, oat straw (have you seen the movie Harold and Maude - let's talk)

So many teas are made here in Portland, Oregon (or other Oregon cities). We aren't just a coffee haven.

Who has heard of Tazo tea, Steven Smith Teamaker, and Stash tea? All Oregon companies. But I do venture out in the rest of the world - Africa (rooibos), England (Twinings of course), California (Traditional Medicines, Numi).

What's your favorite tea? Mine is currently Steven Smith's Darjeeling.

The best tea i ever tried was home made,we were on this mountain house and the owner was one old lady, she made tea for us in the morning, when we took a sip..it was amazing,we asked her wtf was this? She said it was her mix of different meadow herbs, she was very secretive about it. ;)

That's a great collection, Laura. I remember your nice collection of cups too. I'm more of a daily coffee drinker but I do have 2 favorite teas. One is "Tangerine Orange" (Celestial Seasonings) and the other is one my sister helped to create back in the '70s called "Evening in Missoula." Both are herbal teas and are really delicious. And I loved "Harold and Maude!" :)

Wie lange man einen Tee ziehen lässt, ist doch ganz entscheidend für den Geschmack?!
Und der Konsum von zu viel Tee mancher Sorten, kann den Körper leider auch schädigen.

Wow, what a good collection! My everyday tea is a good Assam (with milk English style) or Earl Grey. And there's a fabulous green tea: www.the-english-tearoom.de/en/store/tea/organic-china-jasmine-pearls-dragon-phoenix-pearls

I have a giant tin of jasmine I bought a couple years ago at a vietnamese market. Who knows why. But now I am finally working through it, in part because it is hard to find coffee right now, and in part just for a change.

That's quite an impressive collection Laura..............and nicely presented. I don't drink tea that often, but when I do I generally go for English Breakfast Tea.
