Mt Tabor - Rule of Thirds - SSC

Mount Tabor is a city park. It is a dormant cinder cone volcano. While it is part of a long extinct lava field, it is still monitored for activity. It is, after all, almost in the middle of Portland, Oregon. I hike the 4 flights of stairs shown here, 4 times once a week. This week I did it in the snow!

It is snowing in your photo? A good exercise!

Yes, it's snowing. You can see it against the trees if you view it big. I probably should have used a flash to highlight the snow - but who can think after 16 flights of stairs?

That's quite a descent. And perfect for the rule of thirds challenge.

This works great for the Challenge, Laura. And, the use of leading lines perfectly enhances the result.
