Droplet-Drizzled Fuschias at Honeyman State Park
Moving on From Tugman State Park to Honeyman State Park...and an Update!
I could spend weeks sharing pictures from Tugman but we must move on! Next stop is just up the coast at Honeyman State Park!
I'll get into details in a future post but for now, I wanted to let everyone know that I'm doing fine, but I'm getting hit in the face by Covid anxiety again. One of the triggers is visiting folks on ipernity because I worry for everyone's safety and I cannot stop the mental chess from going on about the state of affairs and the horror of it all.
I will do my best to post when I can but I apologize if I have to run and hide instead of visiting. I feel bad because I should be able to deal with this by now. Maybe because I'm so empathic, I just can't handle the mental imagery and waves of worry that sweep over me. :(
I hope you are all doing well these days and I'll check in soon! Take care everyone!

How sweet of you to care so much for us and to worry about this COVID situation that's causing us all so much fear. I have accepted that it's too dangerous for Mandi to attempt to come from Turkey to spend Christmas with me, I can at least relax knowing she's safe at home there. As for my son and his family - he says he'll try and come up to see me after Christmas, but I know he's still recovering from his bout of COVID. Even though he'd been vaccinated twice and the effect of the virus was quite mild on him - it has exhausted him and he finds himself very tired a lot of the time. Driving for 2 hours up to see me and then 2 hours back could be dangerous, so I'd rather he waits until he's much better. So that means Christmas on my own - again!!!! I'm having my booster vaccination tomorrow, so I can relax knowing I'm 97% covered against this Omicrom variant - although I don't go out anyway! You never know what people are bringing in when they come to see me or deliver things to me. I can relax now though.
Have a great Christmas and I hope that we will all soon sort out how to cope with this virus and not let it take over our lives anymore. Stay safe though sweetie xxxxx
